HR Creators - Graphic Designer (f/m/d)

Are you passionate about using visual design to enhance organizational learning and employee development? Can you translate complex HR processes and educational concepts into clear, instructional visuals? Join Volt Europa as an HR Graphic Designer. This role is dedicated exclusively to internal content production, focusing on the creation of training materials and learning resources to support our teams across Europe. This is not a role for external political communications.

Do you want to contribute to Europe's future?

Volt stands for a united and federal Europe, where everyone has equal opportunities to fulfil their unique potential. We strive to achieve the highest human, environmental, social, and technological development together. We are a pan-European political movement with 200 elected representatives across Europe, including 5 members of the European Parliament, over 30,000 members and hundreds of volunteers who work hard to make our vision a reality.

Volt is an inclusive movement that wants to provide space for everyone to thrive. We believe the power of diversity achieves better results for our society at large. We can only be the inclusive political movement we aspire to be, if we represent different voices and perspectives in our society. Your skin colour, gender identity, disabilities, sexual orientation or religious belief do not matter. You are welcome in our organisation, and we want to work together with you to create a better Europe for everyone.

What will you do?

As Graphic Designer for the HR Team, you will be responsible for the visual clarity of our internal communications and educational resources. You will:

  • Promote Internal Initiatives: Design visual assets for internal events, vacancy announcements, and community initiatives to drive engagement within the movement.

  • Support Training Production: Collaborate with the Video Editor to create infographics, diagrams, and on-screen assets for instructional training materials.

  • Standardize Internal Identity: Apply Volt’s brand guidelines to internal documents, slide decks, and manuals to ensure professional consistency across all HR touchpoints.

  • Visualize Organizational Data: Transform complex internal processes and HR workflows into clear, accessible infographics for volunteers and staff.

  • Internal Branding: You understand how to maintain brand integrity while tailoring visuals for an internal audience (onboarding, training, and community building).

  • Collaborative Design: You are comfortable working with HR leads and video editors to refine assets based on pedagogical needs.

  • Adaptability: You can switch between designing high-impact internal event posters and technical diagrams for training manuals.

  • Tool Proficiency: You are efficient in collaborative environments and can produce high-quality work within structured timelines.

What requirements do we ask for this role?

  • Professional Experience: 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on corporate identity, internal communications, or educational design.

  • Technical Stack: Proficiency in Canva (for collaborative templates) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) or Figma for high-fidelity assets.

  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your ability to organize information clearly, including presentation design and instructional graphics.

  • Availability: Minimum 4–6 hours per week. Consistency is required to support ongoing recruitment and training cycles. Work is fully remote and mostly async, although meetings will be scheduled on a needs-basis.
