What do you see as the most urgent democratic challenge facing Volt Europa's mission across the continent, and how would you lead the organisation's response? 

The most urgent challenge is the growing distance between people and politics. Many citizens feel that their voice does not matter, low participation and space for populism. As Co President I will focus on bringing politics closer to people, first by strengthening local chapters and giving them more support to engage directly with communities. For example, organising regular local events, discussions where people can share their concerns because politics should work for people by people. Second, I will invest in youth and new members by creating training and membership programs so more people feel confident to participate and lead. 

How would you handle a public disagreement with your Co-President on a matter of political strategy? 

First, I would try to solve the disagreement privately through open and honest discussion because its important to understand each other's perspective. If the disagreement continues, I would focus on what is best for Volt, not personal positions. If the issue becomes public I would communicate in a calm and respectful way, avoiding conflict language and explain that different views are part of a healthy democratic organisation. 

In what way will you ensure the European Board remains accountable to local volunteers and members in practice? Please give 2–3 specific mechanisms. 

First, regular reporting and feedback loops, for example after major decisions or campaigns, the board would share short, clear updates and collect feedback from local teams. Second, structured monthly meetings with representatives from local chapters. This creates a direct space where members can raise concerns and ask questions.
