European Community Core Team Members (f/m/d)
We’re looking for motivated members to join the Core Teams of Volt’s European Communities and help organise their activities and direction. As part of the Core Team, you can contribute in different ways, depending on your interests and skills. Tasks include event planning, recruitment, communication, coordination and more.
Being part of the Core Team is a flexible commitment of a few hours per week, and you’ll work together with a small, enthusiastic team who care about the Community.
Do you want to contribute to Europe's future?
Volt stands for a united and federal Europe, where everyone has equal opportunities to fulfil their unique potential. We strive to achieve the highest human, environmental, social, and technological development together. We are a pan-European political movement with 200 elected representatives across Europe, including 5 members of the European Parliament, over 30,000 members and hundreds of volunteers who work hard to make our vision a reality.
Volt is an inclusive movement that wants to provide space for everyone to thrive. We believe the power of diversity achieves better results for our society at large. We can only be the inclusive political movement we aspire to be, if we represent different voices and perspectives in our society. Your skin colour, gender identity, disabilities, sexual orientation or religious belief do not matter. You are welcome in our organisation, and we want to work together with you to create a better Europe for everyone.
About the European Communities
The European Communities are Volt’s hubs of expertise, passion and innovation. They’re open to anyone interested in a specific topic, from experienced experts to curious newcomers. By joining a European Community, you help shape social initiatives, influence policy, and directly support your elected representatives. They’re also a good starting point for people who are passionate about creating positive change in our society. Among the other things, ECs should:
Facilitate online policy discussions.
Build a network of experts, enthusiasts, and initiative-takers.
Support policy teams at all levels with research and expertise.
Collaborate with elected officials and candidates.
Advocate for relevant issues within Volt and society.
Organise external events to attract new members.
Partner with local chapters and NGOs for societal impact initiatives.
A European Community starts small and grows organically over time, expanding its activities as it develops.
