Thematic Communities round-up, October 2025
Changing Europe can’t be done just by winning seats in an election. Changing Europe takes the power of people with a vision for a better future. That’s why we’ve launched Volt’s European Communities, an opportunity for you to contribute directly to addressing our most pressing social, economic and environmental challenges. Here is what Volt’s Communities have been doing over the last month: we hope to inspire you to join us!
ECONFINCom (Economy & Public Finance Community (now including the Future of Work))
At the end of September, we held a panel discussion in Brussels on workers' rights and development in cooperatives. Featuring contributions from NGOs and Volt European Parliament APA, Charlotte Bechert, we looked at how the cooperative model can improve workers’ lives and the potential impact of AI. You can watch a video of the event here.

Setting up working groups on topics related to integration and military service.

Dutch Volt MP, Laurens Dassen, gave a speech emphasising the importance of cultured meat and proteins of non-animal origin.
