About us Volt Europa is a pan-European movement with more than 30,000 members and volunteers across Europe. Our goal is simple: we believe in the European dream but we want to make it better and more democratic.

The HR Team at Volt Europa works on ensuring that our volunteers feel valued, supported, and engaged within the movement. Our team is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and fostering a positive and inclusive community within Volt.

About the position As an HR team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Volt Europa’s volunteer engagement. Your main tasks will include:

  • Recruiting and onboarding new volunteers

  • Supporting internal HR processes and policies

  • Helping create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive community

  • Facilitating internal communication between teams

  • Providing support to volunteers to ensure they feel engaged in their roles

  • Assisting in developing an online course on HR management and bias mitigation

  • Improving efficiency by creating and refining organizational structures and templates to ensure talent retention

  • Assisting in team-building efforts to strengthen Volt Europa’s volunteer network

This position is very flexible, and the time investment can range from a couple of hours per week to as many as you want to invest, all depending on what your schedule allows. We do hope for people who can invest at least 3-5 hours per week, as that will help ensure the smooth running of our HR processes.

  • Interested in human resources or team management

  • Multilingual (speaking additional languages is a plus)
