The vision of the EUR Community Team is „to build a European society of dignity, equality and fairness by guiding our community members to yearn to fulfil their vast potential and contribute it towards our shared future.“ 

The task of the EUR community team is to connect our members across Europe and inspire them to work on our shared future together. One of our tasks to make this possible is to empower local community teams to learn from each other by harmonising our approaches, sharing best-practices across Europe and teaching new community leads to understand and become more effective in their roles. 

What is waiting for you: 

  • You will work with the two other Co-Leads (strategy and diversity) and a fantastic pan-European Team

  • You will focus on two important tasks:

1)  further develop our community framework with best community practices across Europe and empower new local community leads across Europe by sharing those best practices so we harmonise our approaches across Europe

2) you further develop the EUR community team by organising regular calls with the core team, the project teams, and chapter leads to keep volunteers engaged with various aspects of community work and strengthen the bonds with national community teams

  • You will build networks with stakeholders all over the movement to further establish and implement community topics (Member database, Community Hub, Re-Value Volt framework, moderation guidelines, Pledge inclusive Volt, and future platform development)

  • You will lead the development of an HR framework for paid EUR employees. 

What experience and competencies you should have:

  • Proactive personality to reach out to people and communicate the value of harmonised approaches across Europe and leading the relevant initiatives 

  • Community organising skills and be a good communicator who can also listen 

  • Experience with international work in HR settings

  • Knowledge on how to build, organise, facilitate and structure teams and projects 

  • A strong sense for fairness, inclusion and integrity in your everyday work 

  • Taking responsibility and assuming decisions based on inclusive community standards
