The Disability Network Community brings together members from across Europe to advance disability rights and strengthen the political participation and representation of disabled people within Volt and beyond.

How does the Disability Network contribute to society?

The European Community contributes to society by shaping inclusive policies and supporting the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) across Europe. It supports Volt’s elected representatives, promotes accessibility and inclusion in political life, raises awareness of ableism, and builds partnerships with civil society to help remove barriers that prevent disabled people from fully exercising their European citizenship.
