DefCom contributes to society by promoting informed debate and policy development on European security, defence cooperation, and crisis response. The Community works on topics such as EU strategic autonomy, international cooperation, conflict prevention, and civilian protection. By fostering collaboration across borders, DefCom supports policies that aim to protect democratic values, enhance collective security, and contribute to long-term peace and stability.
