Digital Comms Assistant
Volt Europa is looking for a Communications Assistant with a focus on digital content creation

A European movement with almost 200 elected officials in nine different countries, Volt Europa is a young, international and dynamic organisation that works with thousands of professionals and volunteers from all corners of Europe.
We’re searching for a Communications Assistant with a keen interest in social media to deliver high-quality content across our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Youtube & LinkedIn). Key responsibilities
Assist in the management of Volt Europa’s social media accounts
Create various forms of social media content for Volt Europa’s social media accounts
Track social media performance to identify ideas and current trends
Brainstorm and research ideas for Volt Europa’s content calendar
Ensure every piece of content aligns with our brand identity and voice
Assist copy writing for external and internal communications (newsletters)
Keep our website up to date
Share knowledge and best practices with national chapters
What we look for in you!
Experience in content creation, video production and editing
Robust design skills and familiarity with Adobe products and/or Figma, Canva
Ability to write clear and easy-to-understand texts in English
Strong organisational & interpersonal skills
A passion for Volt’s vision, mission, and policies and knowledge of the EU
Communication skills: at Volt Europa you will deal with professionals and volunteers from all backgrounds and all corners of Europe. Good communications skills are therefore required as well as cultural sensitivity.
Working independently and self-motivated: we provide a large amount of freedom. This means you are in charge of your own schedule and will have to plan accordingly.

A remote working contract for 10 hours per week
A remote-first, pan-European workspace
Flexible hours
Please note that our payroll system is currently only set up in the Netherlands, Italy, France and Luxembourg, meaning we can only hire people based on these countries at this moment.
