Role Overview

Are you someone who’s organized, proactive, and excited to make a real impact? As a Team Member of the Country Council Office, you’ll be right at the heart of Volt Europa, helping to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our leadership, supporting the Chair by leading dedicated projects where you manage communications, organize meetings, and handle essential tasks that keep the Council on track. It’s a great way to contributeg to something meaningful.

About the Country Council

The Country Council (CC) is where Volt Europa’s national and European leaders come together to make key decisions and shape the future of the organization. It’s a space for sharing important information, making collective decisions, and holding each other accountable. We meet every two weeks to discuss, vote, and plan the next steps for our movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help Organize Our Meetings: Schedule and coordinate our bi-weekly Country Council meetings, prepare agendas with guidance from the Chair, and capture key decisions.

  • Keep Us On Track: Help follow up on action items from meetings, ensuring that everyone is moving forward with their tasks.

  • Support Our Projects: Assist in implementing project plans to help Volt Europa achieve its goals.

  • Be the Communication Hub: Ensure smooth communication between the Country Council, the Chair, the European Board and other team members, making sure everyone is in the loop.

  • Handle Important Admin Tasks: Manage documents, correspondence, and other administrative duties to keep everything organized and running smoothly.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You’re organized and proactive, and you get things done.

  • You can manage different tasks at once and keep things moving smoothly.

  • You’re comfortable taking charge of administrative tasks and making sure everything’s in order.

  • You’re fluent in English and can communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking.

  • You enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and can work well independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a volunteer or leadership role within Volt.

  • Familiarity with project management.

  • Skills in content writing or communication.

Time Commitment

  • 4-8 hours per week.

  • Note that this is a volunteer position without the option for remuneration
