Academy Team Intern (f/m/d)
Are you passionate about learning, developing others, and helping a grassroots movement grow stronger across Europe? Are you organised, curious, and eager to help make political education, leadership development, and training more accessible to Volt’s volunteers? Then apply now to join Volt Europa’s Academy Team as an intern and help shape the next generation of pan-European change makers!
Do you want to contribute to Europe’s future?
Volt is a pan-European political movement fighting to make Europe more united, democratic, and future-proof. With 200+ elected officials across the continent, thousands of members, and one common vision, Volt offers a rare opportunity to work in a fast-growing, cross-border movement that truly embodies European values.
We strive to be a diverse and inclusive movement. We explicitly welcome applicants of all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, disabilities, or faiths. You are welcome here.
The Traineeship
As an Academy Team Intern, you will support the creation, organisation, and improvement of learning experiences for volunteers and teams across Volt Europa. From onboarding training to advanced leadership workshops, the Academy empowers our people to thrive and lead, and you’ll be right at the centre of it.
You will work closely with the Academy Team and get a broad overview of how we design, implement, and maintain political education and internal training across a volunteer-driven movement.
What you’ll do?
Your work will vary based on your interests and the Academy’s priorities, but here are some examples of tasks:
Assist in the development of educational content and learning materials (slides, guides, handouts)
Contribute to the coordination of workshops, webinars, or online learning formats
Maintain and improve the knowledge hub and course library
Support the administration and feedback process for learning experiences
Coordinate with teams to identify learning needs or tailor trainings
Optionally: help with learning analytics, platform setup (Google, Notion, Moodle), or facilitation
This is a learning opportunity, you’ll also be encouraged to take part in Academy training yourself, develop your soft and hard skills, and explore what you enjoy doing most.
What you’ll gain?
A unique insight into how a pan-European political movement functions
Project management, facilitation, and training skills
First-hand experience in political education, adult learning, and internal capacity-building
Collaboration with a remote, multicultural team of professionals and volunteers
Space to shape your own role based on your interests and goals

You don’t have to tick every box. If you’re motivated and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.
