Yes. Volunteers receive training and ongoing support from a team of dedicated HR professionals.

Volt Europa’s HR team is structured into sub‑teams to deliver consistent recruitment, onboarding, volunteer experience, chapter support, and practical tooling across countries.

  • Volunteer Activation: Central intake for EUR‑level volunteers, harmonized vacancies, confirmation emails, routing to functional teams, onboarding in collaboration with National Onboarding teams. 

  • Chapters Liaison: Tailored HR/community support by chapter maturity, transparent communication on onboarding timelines and delays.

    • Established chapters: Peer forum for best practices, blockers, and alignment on EUR–national information flow.

    • Focus chapters: Practical support to resolve HR/community issues, share initiatives, and strengthen collaboration.

    • Developing chapters: Orientation on HR/community fit within Volt, clear escalation pathways and hands-on support.

  • Intern Oversight and Guidance: End‑to‑end intern experience: onboarding, mid‑term and end‑term evaluations, offboarding, wellbeing monitoring, and intern overview maintenance.
