European Officials Office team member (f/d)
Are you as passionate about Europe as we are?
Do you get energised by looking beyond national borders and collaboration across Europe?
Do you have what it takes to support Volt's European Officials?
You are invited to apply! It does not matter what the colour of your skin is, which gender you identify with, whether you have a disability, who you love, what you believe in. We believe the power of diversity achieves better results for our society at large. We can only be the inclusive political movement we aspire to be, if we represent different voices and perspectives in our society.
Do you want to contribute to Europe's future?
Volt stands for a united and federal Europe, where everyone has equal opportunities to fulfil their unique potential. We strive to achieve the highest human, environmental, social, and technological development together. We are a pan-European political movement with more than 110 elected representatives across Europe and thousands of members and volunteers. For more information, visit www.volteuropa.org.
What does our team do?
The European Officials Office connects and supports Volt Officials at all levels - city, regional, national and European - fostering communication between them, the party, and the European (or national/regional/local) Board. We assist in everything they encounter as a politician, like coordination and liaison, internal and external communication, coaching and training, policy, and other key deliverables. We also ensure collaboration with key teams like policy, communications and tech.
We have received a number of applications of candidates who want to work on policy: please note that this is now what our team does and refer to the Policy Team Vacancies instead.
What do you need to excel as part of our team?
Research shows that (oftentimes) female candidates only apply when they meet 100% of the requirements, while male candidates do so when they meet just 60%. We explicitly encourage everyone to apply: you don’t have to tick every box to apply. We also consider your potential and motivation! As this is an undefined position, we are open to all skills and interests you are able to bring, and we will shape the position in line with what you have to offer. These are all nice-to-have’s!

What we offer you!
A majority of the work will be remote, you will meet and work with like-minded people that represent the richness of Europe’s people.
You contribute to shaping Volt's success in Europe, will grow with our party and movement, and can have a positive impact on European society.
You will work closely with all Volt's Elected Officials and party leaders across Europe, gaining exposure to political topics and working in a perfect environment to network with key Volt stakeholders and other partners.
You are a crucial player in turning Volt's vision into reality and contributing to the exposure and growth of the party.
