Do you want to contribute to Europe's future?
Volt stands for a united and federal Europe, where everyone has equal opportunities to fulfil their unique potential. We strive to achieve the highest human, environmental, social, and technological development together. We are a pan-European political movement with 200 elected representatives across Europe, including 5 members of the European Parliament, over 30,000 members and hundreds of volunteers who work hard to make our vision a reality.
Volt is an inclusive movement that wants to provide space for everyone to thrive. We believe the power of diversity achieves better results for our society at large. We can only be the inclusive political movement we aspire to be, if we represent different voices and perspectives in our society. Your skin colour, gender identity, disabilities, sexual orientation or religious belief do not matter. You are welcome in our organisation, and we want to work together with you to create a better Europe for everyone.
What will you do?
As a Helpdesk Agent, you will be a vital link between Volt Europa and our community — making sure that questions, issues, and requests coming through our support channels are handled swiftly and with care. You will:
Monitor and manage incoming tickets: Keep a close eye on all support requests coming in through Volt Europa's helpdesk channels, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks and every ticket gets the attention it deserves.
Respond to community queries: Answer questions from supporters, members, and the general public in a friendly, on-brand tone that reflects Volt's values and pan-European mission.
Triage and escalate when needed: Identify which tickets can be resolved directly and which require input from other teams (Tech & IT, Communications, Community, etc.), and route them accordingly.
Give special attention to Meta-related tickets: Handle tickets related to Volt Europa's Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) — this is a key focus area where we're looking for extra support. Help troubleshoot issues, answer platform-specific questions, and keep our Meta presence running smoothly.
Maintain clear documentation: Build and keep up-to-date a knowledge base of common issues and their solutions, so the whole team can resolve recurring questions faster over time.
Track and improve response times: Monitor ticket volumes and response metrics, spotting trends and bottlenecks so we can continuously improve how we support our community.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with the Communications and Community teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless experience for anyone reaching out to Volt Europa.
Support national chapters: Help local Volt chapters with their questions and issues, empowering them to manage their own presence effectively while staying aligned with Volt's brand and guidelines.
Usual time commitment needed are approximately five hours or less per week. All work can be done online and completely remote.
