Successes:

Toilet initiative: Pilot project for the short-term creation of toilets in public spaces: playgrounds, parks, squares. Testing of new toilet concepts: self-sufficient, reuse of the resulting waste → climate-friendly. Toilets are barrier-free, gender-neutral and if possible with baby-changing stations.

Broadband expansion: Elimination of grey areas: fast internet for the whole of Cologne thanks to over 90 million in funding from the federal and state governments. We took the initiative to apply for the funding.

Successes:

Ukraine: Fast and uncomplicated health care for refugees in Munich (they receive the electronic health card). Initially, free public transport in Munich and free admission to city recreational facilities such as the zoo in Munich for refugees from Ukraine.

Europe: Experience Europe for Munich will be located in the City Hall in a prime Munich location. This means (young) people have a place where the EU is brought closer to them at a local level.

Energy: Funding organised for the EU project ASCEND. The ASCEND project aims to transform the Harthof neighbourhood in the north of Munich into an energy-positive district over the next five years.
